This project records the relationship Londoners have with green spaces and the value of nature to them during long pandemic lockdowns when movement and connection with others was restricted. The work was motivated by a concern about the lack of representation in the environmental sector, which is one of the least diverse in the UK with regard to ethnicity, and what that means for the values within how we imagine and change the natural environment. The work is ongoing and consists of a series of interviews with Londoners who volunteered to speak about a green space that was important to them, thus it is a documentation that celebrates the universal human bond with nature.
